Rosie Sonnenschein is an architect working as a Lead Building Safety Manager at Peabody. She manages a small team of building safety managers in South London. Rosie is also heavily involved in writing and quality checking safety case reports for the building safety team. Rosie currently runs the structural investigation programme at Peabody, and in the past she has also managed cladding investigations into blocks with suspected combustible external wall materials. Prior to her time at Peabody, Rosie worked as a Principal Designer (BSR) and a Lead Designer for firestopping and other small remedial works. Her HRB refurbishment and recladding projects gained building control approval at Gateway 2 and are now on site moving towards Gateway 3. With experience both client-side managing higher-risk buildings in occupation and project-side working to design compliant refurbishment works, Rosie is able to use her insights to ensure projects run smoothly and residents are kept safe.
